for all competitors/delegates participating in

Oslo Grand Prix 2020, 24-26th of April


The Board of The Norwegian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, IFBB Norway, is happy to welcome you as a participant of Oslo Grand Prix 2020 at X-Meetingpoint, Norway

General information for all athletes/delegates

No show or any other form of delay to the registration may lead to disqualification and a fee of the total amount of NOK 2000,-  If your delay is caused by transportation it is of high importance to immediately contact:

Starting fee for competitors is set at EUR 200,-

Norwegian competitors are bound to have paid their membership in NBFF minimum 4 weeks before registration.


During registration, you will receive your start number, delegat/coach badges, and a code colored bracelet (your ticket). You need to keep your bracelet on at all times: backstage, on stage, in theater and in expo area. This also applies to delegates. The delegate badges and bracelets will be given out to the persons that has been registered in our system in advance.


The number of delegates is 1:3 athletes

In case of non-documented absence there will be a fee of NOK 2000,-

There is no equipment for warming up backstage. You may bring for example elastics for your personal use. No manuals or similar equipment is allowed.


The competition starts at 09.00 am. All categories will run back to back, that means that it is extremely important to pay close attention to the timetable and messages given by our crew. We will print a short version of the timetable on the back of your athlete/delegate badges, but it is your responsibility to make sure you are up to date at all times. You need to be present backstage at least one hour before your class is due on stage.


Competitors and delegates are allowed in the seating area of the venue, but do not have any reserved seats. You need to find available seats in the back, and we kindly ask you not to occupy seats that have been paid for by the public. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to occupy or block stairs or emergency exits.


Any form of illegal substances (WADA list) and/or alcohol is strictly prohibited.  There may be a security check at the athletes’ entrance. You must also sign an anti-doping waiver to be allowed to compete.


If there are more than 15 competitors in one category, there will be an elimination round. The best 15 athletes will then advance to semifinals, and from there the best 6 athletes will advance to the finals. A list of athletes that advance from each round will be hung up and/or called out backstage. Please pay close attention.


Bodybuilding, Classic Bodybuilding & Womens Physique:

It is mandatory to wear the bikini/posing trunks you are planning to wear on stage, at the registration. Your height is measured wearing posing trunks/bikini only. In addition, the Head judge will appraise the bikini/shoes/posing trunks, and if your attire does not meet the IFBB standard, you will not be allowed to use it on stage. 


All music for posing routines must be sent as an mp3-file to: music@ifbbnorway.no

Your music needs to be marked: NAME, CLASS, AND WHEN TO START.

We do not accept music on the day of competition. Your posing routine cannot exceed 60 seconds (both BB and WP). Music with explicit content will lead to the athletes placing being marked down. Posing routine takes place in the finals.


Fitness, all categories:

Fitness/Bodyfitness/Bikini Fitness/Wellness Fitness/Mens Physique: It is mandatory to wear the bikini/shorts you are planning to wear on stage, at the registration. Your height is measured wearing bikini/shorts only. In addition, the Head judge will appraise the bikini/shoes/posing trunks, and if your attire does not meet the IFBB standard, you will not be allowed to use it on stage. Sole thickness of the shoes may be a maximum height of 1 cm and stiletto heels may have a maximum height of 12 cm. Platform shoes are not allowed.


Fitness competitors:
All music for posing routines must be sent as an mp3-file to: music@ifbbnorway.no

Your music needs to be marked: NAME, CLASS, AND WHEN TO START.

We do not accept music on the day of competition. Your posing routine cannot exceed 90 seconds. Music with explicit content will lead to the athletes placing being marked down.


Delegates:

As a delegate, it is your responsibility that your athletes are ready to go on stage at the correct time. This mean you are obligated to be there for your athletes and meet their needs. You are responsible for paying attention to the timetable and to be up to date with any changes. Keep in touch with the stage crew at all times. Being a delegate does not give you free access to watch the competition, you are there to do a job helping your athletes.


We kindly ask you to contribute to the well being of all people at the venue. Keep the dressing rooms/restrooms tidy and take all your belongings with you when you leave. This includes garbage etc. All clubs have a responsibility, and violation of this will be billed.


The Norwegian Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness hope this information will be of good use and contribute to the smooth and timely running of the competition.

Info meeting for delegates will be held at the same place as the registration, at 10.00 - 17:00 hrs.
